New e-card and ID-Austria registration points in Burgenland also available in Styria

Residents of Styria can also benefit from Burgenland’s expanding e-card and ID-Austria registration services. Two new locations, established in cooperation with the Landespolizeidirektion Burgenland, are available to applicants from Styria.

Available registration locations

In addition to the existing locations in Eisenstadt, Parndorf and Oberwart, two further registration points have been available since the end of March 2024:

• Polizeiinspektion Nickelsdorf-Fremdenpolizei
• Polizeiinspektion Heiligenkreuz im Lafnitztal-FGP

These locations provide registration services for both the e-card and ID-Austria.

Appointments are required

Registration for the e-card and ID-Austria is available exclusively by prior appointment. Appointments can be booked through the official appointment booking page.

Practical steps

1. Open the official appointment booking page.
2. Select a suitable registration location, including Nickelsdorf or Heiligenkreuz if appropriate.
3. Book an appointment in advance.
4. Attend the selected registration point at the scheduled time for your e-card or ID-Austria registration.
